Movesense–OpenSense Integration.

A staged R&D program building an open, scalable wearable measurement pathway from Movesense acquisition through OpenSense interoperability and OpenCap comparison.

Build and test the wearable method in stages.

The project progresses from one sensor to two and then staged 3-, 5-, and 10-sensor configurations before OpenSense and OpenCap comparison.

Each stage separates technical development from evidence of validity or clinical utility. A working pipeline is a prototype to evaluate, not a clinical claim.

01One sensor

Non-human bench evidence before any governed human feasibility.

02Two sensors

Non-human timing and integrity before simple human feasibility.

033, 5, then 10

Each sensor count passes non-human and prior human stop/go criteria.

Human activity requires a documented institutional governance determination. Feasibility does not establish validity, reliability, clinical utility, or an operational service.

01HMS-PROJ-001Proposed

Movesense acquisition and single-sensor feasibility

Verify one-sensor acquisition on the bench before considering a governed one-sensor human feasibility session.

Next decision point

Complete the hardware and firmware inventory, then capture the first non-human bench recording.

02HMS-PROJ-002Proposed

Movesense multi-sensor timing and scaling

Measure timing and integrity with two sensors, then stage 3-, 5-, and 10-sensor loads non-human before corresponding human feasibility.

Next decision point

Begin with a two-sensor non-human shared event after single-sensor acquisition is stable.

03HMS-PROJ-003Proposed

Movesense calibration and orientation validation

Establish calibration, fusion, coordinate, drift, magnetic, and invalid-state limits across supported sensor counts.

Next decision point

Start with one-sensor non-human static poses and prescribed rotations after the timing envelope is known.

04HMS-PROJ-004Proposed

Movesense-OpenSense interoperability

Build reproducible OpenSense input, calibration, and inverse-kinematics acceptance after orientation limits are explicit.

Next decision point

Round-trip synthetic trajectories, then complete a non-human two- or three-sensor acceptance run.

05HMS-PROJ-005Proposed

Movesense-OpenSense and OpenCap comparison

Compare synchronized wearable and video estimates without treating agreement as accuracy or OpenCap as ground truth.

Next decision point

Begin only after Project 004 makes timing, orientation, placement, coordinate, and export limits explicit.
